Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 9, 2026

This policy describes how we handle information on this corporate website. It is a template: have counsel review it, especially if you operate in the EU/UK, California, or other regulated regions, or if you add analytics, ads, or customer accounts.

3D Reality Labs LLC (“3D Reality Labs,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit 3drealitylabs.com (the “Site”).

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Site only. Our separate products (for example, apps hosted on other domains) may have their own privacy notices. If you engage us under a contract, additional privacy or data-processing terms may apply.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

When you use the Contact form, we collect the information you enter (such as name, email address, and message content) so we can respond to you.

2.2 Automatically collected information

Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery providers may process technical data when you load pages, such as IP address, browser type, general location derived from IP, timestamps, and referring URLs. We use this information to operate and secure the Site.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to inquiries sent through the contact form;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues;
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

If laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on appropriate bases such as: (i) our legitimate interests in operating the Site and communicating with prospective clients; (ii) performance of a contract or steps at your request; and (iii) consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies, if we use them—see our Cookie Policy).

5. Sharing and subprocessors

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist us (for example, form delivery, email, hosting, or content delivery). They are permitted to use data only to perform services for us.
  • Contact form processing: Submissions may be processed by a third-party form provider you configure (for example, Web3Forms or similar). That provider’s privacy policy also applies to how they handle submissions in transit and storage.
  • Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal information for money as that term is commonly defined in U.S. state privacy laws.

6. Retention

We retain contact inquiries for as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business records (for example, a reasonable period to demonstrate communications), unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs may be retained for a limited period according to our providers’ practices.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

8. International transfers

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. We take steps as required by applicable law for cross-border transfers (for example, appropriate safeguards or contractual clauses).

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under state law. To exercise rights, contact us at hello@3drealitylabs.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

10. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may require additional notice where required by law.
